A lot of the underlying code has been overhauled, so I don't recommend you install this particular update on an existing save. Her comment after "The Silver Hand" quest should now fire for more people. Update Notes for the 2.2 Update, Mages, Romance, and Misfits. This should help reduce Laura Bailey and Kerstyn voice overlap, at least for the radiant stuff. The writing for a lot of these conversations has improved, and Kerstyn's voice should now feel more synergistic with how she voices the Serana character now. Not going to do a Molag Bal conversation anymore since having it would be redundant, seeing as it's already one of Serana's radiant conversation choices. Please don't do this quest when specific Dawnguard quests are active in your journal. - "House of Horrors" quest awareness. For the Dark Brotherhood, Serana will also comment if you chose to destroy them. If you noticed Serana was unusually quiet in some quests, or should have commented on something, try playing through those bits again and see if she has something to say! - Fixed custom greet loop with the "Arthon" name. The player can choose to delay this too, in case they need Serana for a quest or just want her to stick around for a bit longer. - "How does it feel to be a vampire line" no longer occurs if the player is a vampire too. These are location-aware and can only be accessed when Serana and the player are in said locations, through the "Can I talk to you for a bit?" - Removed dialogue cooldown for Serana recap dialogue. - During Drinking Buddies, Serana should now only comment on Solstheim if you've been there. -You can now ask Serana whether you want her to keep her hood on or not! If you're planning to experience the Solstheim side quests, it's advisable to install this update on a save where you haven't traveled there yet. - The first Serana Romance conversation will no longer occur in Dimhollow Crypt- instead when you first exit the crypt with Serana. - Changed a line with the initial Mikael Banter to suit Serana's character more, - Adjustments to some radiant dialogue to only occur when Serana's relationship has been developed with the player, - Delayed most NPC banter (not followers) to only occur after "Beyond Death". Keeping 'I'll find us a table' since that's generally more reliable and doesn't rely on Serana's follower AI. Extensive follower commentary and quest awareness for each of the following quests. Because the Serana marriage in this mod is treated very differently from typical vanilla marriage, both role-play wise and gameplay wise. This quest awareness is extensive, and covers every single Companions quest until the end of the questline. These new lines are also faction-aware, so Serana will have different responses based on whether or not you're part of a particular group in Skyrim. The dialogue lines in this mod (nearly 5000) are all fully voiced, utilizing new voice-acted lines by Kerstyn Unger. - Some backend changes for the dialogue conditions of various dialogue. This way, you should almost exclusively hear Laura Bailey's voice lines during Dawnguard quests, and for everything out of those quests, Kerstyn's lines. These add up to a total of 20 new NPC conversations, - Whiterun: Nazeem, Ysolda, Carlotta, Mikael, Belethor, Jarl Balgruuf, - The background music now mutes when Serana sings her songs, - When in a safe interior (like a player home) Serana will now stand still while singing for you, - Fixed some animation triggers for the SDA_SeranaRomance7 quest. Did it for sure this time. After this update, SDA will now be incompatible with other mods that give Serana custom horses/custom horse support, like Convenient Horses (but a patch for that mod will be provided). Even vampires need some shut-eye every now and then. It wouldn't make sense for Serana to become more outspoken and bantery to other characters so soon after waking up, - Added AlternateVoice=1 condition to hello lines that should have had it, - Workarounds added to prevent FG seduction dialogue from popping up on Serana after she has been married (thanks jgostling!). The horse will also follow/teleport to her when it has gotten too far, so no need to worry about horse catch-ups. It's been rebuilt from the ground up to ensure better integration with SDA Drinking Buddies. Now there's a voiced conversation behind it, and an in-game reason why it's in place. - Sofia Banter (Built-into the mod, without requiring the Sofia mod as a Masterfile). Previously the condition for this dialogue was carry weight. - Radiant conversation dialogue with Serana to start off a day's adventuring (this only occurs post-Dawnguard too, as during the Dawnguard questline there would be more important matters to tend to.). New voice acting with Kerstyn's voice as well as more extensive commentary on this armor. This should hopefully help with problems some users have been experiencing. - Serana now has some flavorful comments on Haelga's room in her Bunkhouse! Note: This does not mean that SDA's Serana is being rewritten to be vanilla+. - Over 10 new romance conversations (and over 260 new dialogue lines) with Serana over the course, and after the Dawnguard questline. Serana will also be able to travel beside you, should you ask her to do that. This conversation is unlocked after the "A New Covenant" quest but before the "A Date at the Bannered Mare" quest. - It is important to note that these quests are optional, and do have different outcomes. This quest can be triggered after the Bannered Mare Date and the subsequent friendship conversation. - Reworked Serana's map marker feature. - Added Clean ver. - The bugfix of the previous 1.9.5 patch created another bug, which prevented the Bannered Mare quest from progressing from a certain point. - The romance quests can be experienced regardless of which side you choose in Dawnguard. Included in this mod: Dialogue which will appear to change Serana's attributes making her marriable. - Added a follow-up line to College of Winterhold commentary. - Added in goodbye lines that were supposed to be there before, - Carry weight radiant dialogue now occurs much less frequently (-75%), - Jarl Balgruuf Banter will now only occur in Whiterun. Merri was able to record her lines :), Stopped Serana's Kodlak conversation from firing off at wrong times, Added more conditions to Story Manager triggers for quest commentaries. Disabled for now until scene framework is fully put together. - More revoices of Laura Bailey radiant dialogue ("Can you turn me into a vampire?" However, if the player chooses to remain part of the #furryfam- although Serana will disagree with you, this won't be harmful to the player-Serana relationship (as she has come to learn to respect your decisions- despite how the Companions questline brought up some of her past trauma). You can also choose between two name options for it- "Phoenix" and "Nightshade" as decided from a Patreon poll. - Added commentary on dragons returning. so that it can be asked right away without having to ask "Can I talk to you for a bit?" If that doesn't work, then type "stopquest SDA_FollowerBanter" in the console, followed by "startquest" for that same quest entry. - Greatly reduced frequency of Serana's irritated sneak greets, - Companions and Jorrvaskr general location-awareness. Instead of appearing all at once, new dialogues would only appear after a previous one was completed. - Modified Romance10 script fragment (previously modified by this script) to reflect changes made in the main mod (adding Serana to the married faction), version 1.8.2. Improved pacing and tone of the "Trust" conversation by cutting unnecessary lines that made the conversation a bit melodramatic. When she joins up with the player again after "Bloodlines", after about a week she will start to open up to the player and become friendlier (a new game, or save before Bloodlines is completed required for the timer to take effect). Fixed College of Winterhold and Dark Brotherhood blocking greets so they won't block you out of other dialogue with Serana until all of them have been exhausted. - Note on Jayserpa's newly released mod, House of Horrors - Quest Expansion: Unlike the other House of Horrors edits out there, this mod changes a lot more (particularly at the first stage of the quest). - Radiant commentary on Ancient Technology quest. - Implementation of the DDAF (Dynamic Dialogue Animation Framework) || It is now implemented in the College of Winterhold, Whats on Your Mind, and "Can I Talk to you for a bit?" - Redone the code of the Haunted House quest commentary, so that there now aren't any compatibility issues with other mods which edit the same quest. Serana radiant interactions with many new NPCs. Serana's radiant greets will no longer run while a serious/dramatic quest is running (which Serana has commentary support for). The most ambitious feature of this mod yet, and will require an entire update for itself. - Added in Papyrus log debug messages for the horse feature, to help troubleshoot additional issues. In addition (after a short conversation with her about her spell-casting abilities) she will gain access to an expanded repertoire of new spells, like Healing, Oakflesh, and Flame Atronach. - One of the radiant greets had a mismatching audio file. Not to mention the mod should load faster on older hardware! Serana should now properly sleep in any inn with a rentable double bed (The Bannered Mare, Winking Skeever, Braidwood Inn, Old Hroldan Inn, Dead Man's Drink, Moorside Inn)! [Content Additions] (350+ Total New Lines in this Update!). - The contextual responses for some of Serana's radiant dialogue should now work properly and as intended.
